To ensure your engine is ready to drop in when you receive it and working harmoniously with all of your accessories we can dyno your crate engine with your components.  If there's issues with any components we can diagnose it on the dyno so you aren't wasting valuable time on the track troubleshooting any problem areas.

 

Dyno Procedure:

Dyno service for Chevrolet Performance Racing Crate Engines provided by Karl Kustoms and available for the CT350 and CT400 engines, commonly referred to as the "602" and "604" respectively.

• Engine break-in performed in controlled environment using proprietary dyno software
• Champion brand break-in oil used exclusively
• Valve lash is set before and after dyno service
• Timing mark on balancer is set to true TDC (Top Dead Center)
• Ignition timing is optimized for peak performance
• Oiling system is inspected for proper lubrication

Engines are run on the dyno with any additional components purchased, or if the customer wants to ship their carburetor and front-drive accessories, we can run the engine with those items installed for optimal performance with the customer's existing components.
