Chevy Big/Small Block Clear Distributor Cap

This HEI clear cap distributor is an excellent choice if you need a distributor cap for many Chevy big or small block engines. It has many applications, including fitments on 262-400 small block and big block Mark IV 396-454 Chevy engines. This is an all-in-one design with a single-wire hookup that makes for easy installation and features:

This distributor cap is made to last. The cap is made from clear polycarbonate, which is very durable. It also provides the added entertainment of being able to see the sparks fly inside the cap. The lower housing is made from high-quality aluminum with hardened steel dual bushing construction. This high-output module has a high-spark 65,000-volt internal coil, solid brass terminals, and features an easy one-wire hookup. The modern mechanical and vacuum spark advancement ensures your spark will be precise and accurate.

What’s Included

Included with the distributor cap are installation instructions and the vacuum advance adjustment tool, so you can ensure your spark timing is just before TDC to ensure proper combustion.

Important Notes

Note: This distributor is designed for a 12 volt electrical system with an alternator. It is NOT compatible with a generator and cannot be used with a ballast resistor.
