LS Swap Wiring Harness Options

If you’ve swapped engines in different vehicles, you know that electrical and wiring can often be a holdup. If you’re planning a LS1 swap, check out our different wiring harness options that include everything you’ll need to alleviate as many headaches as possible. While the LS1 is a standard in many engine swap applications, the varying transmissions, air supply, and fuel system types can affect the choice of wiring harness for your vehicle. Here at Karl Kustoms, we offer plenty of LS1 standalone wiring harnesses and are happy to help you ensure you get the right application for your engine swap.

Standalone Wiring Harness Drive-By-Wire LS1

If your new install includes the drive-by-wire style throttle, you should check out this harness. It works with the 4L60E, 4L70E, and 4L75E transmissions, and LS1 MAP sensors. If you want to use a LS3 MAP sensor, check out this harness adapter.

Standalone Wiring Harness Drive-By-Cable LS1

If your LS1 application uses a 24X crank reluctor and is a drive-by-cable application, take a look at this harness. The harness is designed to fit the 4L60E transmission. It is set up for EVI injectors, but also includes adapters so you can run Multitec injectors.

Standalone LS1 Vortec DBC T56 Wiring Harness

If you’re going with a manual transmission, you should be sure to see this harness. The harness is designed around T56 Manual Transmissions or non-electronic automatic transmissions. It is set up for EVI-style injectors and a rear-mounted camshaft sensor.

There’s Always Connect And Cruise

Of course, if you’d rather not worry about choosing the right harness, you should check out our Connect and Cruise packages. They are designed to save you all the headaches by including an engine, transmission, and wiring harness. They ensure that everything matches up and that the installation becomes a plug-and-play install.
