This Engine Is A Great Upgrade For Older LS Engines
Do you have an old 5.3L LS engine that’s on its last legs? This new engine is an excellent upgrade. It’s a direct replacement of 5.3L LS engines in 2002-2007 trucks.
This economical engine is offered as a long block assembly. It doesn’t come with an induction system, ignition system, or front-end accessory drive system. This gives you the opportunity to transfer the components from your older 5.3L LS engine or install new components of your choice.
Specs For This Engine
This new Chevy engine packs a lot of great features.
- It’s quite durable. It comes with a strong 6.0L LS iron engine block and aluminum LS3 cylinder heads.
- It’s versatile. It’s carb and fuel injection friendly.
- It packs a lot of power. It can produce up to 452 horsepower at 5,600 rpm. It also can produce 441 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm.
- It comes with high quality components: Gen III LQ9 truck oil pan
It’s required to use a three-bolt drive-by-wire throttle body with adapter if you stay with the DBW throttle. You can use it with either a 3 or 4 bolt cable driven throttle body.
You also need to use an intake manifold that matches the LS3/L92-style rectangular intake ports.
This Engine Comes With The Manufacturer’s Warranty
If you order a Chevy LS364 engine from us (or any other Chevy engine), you’ll be protected under Chevrolet’s warranty. It’s good for 24 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
