Boom Mat Floor and Tunnel Shield II insulation is designed to provide the best heat protection in areas of problematic high temperatures. Engineered to withstand up to 1,750 degrees of direct continuous heat, this peel-and-stick insulation limits heat transfer on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floorboards, fuel cells, and other areas where heat is an issue. The insulation is constructed with an embossed 10mm aluminum face bonded to a 1/8 in. composite glass-fiber coreand backed with a super-strong, pressure-sensitive backing. It can be shaped and trimmed for a custom fit and is ideal for minimal clearance areas. Boom Matt Floor and Tunnel Shield II can be used on aluminum, metal, carbon fiber, plastic, and more to reflect damaging heat.
